DESCRIPTION: Jantex Defoamer AB is a superior defoamer formulated for many textile processes. An oil-free defoamer, it can be used under pressure as well as in all atmospheric application equipment. Jantex Defoamer AB controls foam generation in the print paste, in jet dyeing and pad dyeing formulas. It can be also used in preparation, desizing, bleaching and finishing processes.

Appearance: White emulsion
Ionic Nature: Nonionic
pH, 5% Soln,: 7.4-9.4
Solubility: Dispersible; it forms an excellent white emulsion.
Density: Approximately 8.2 lbs. per Gallon
APPLICATION: Jantex Defoamer AB should be pre-diluted with water and added to the print paste or processing equipment before other chemicals to suppress foam formation.
PRINTING: Any normal print paste should only require from 1/8th % to ¼ % Jantex Defoamer AB by weight of paste.
BATCH: For most batch applications, 0.25% to 1% (owg) is sufficient. The amount of Jantex Defoamer AB required for each application will vary with the types of dyes and chemicals used in the process.
CONTINUOUS: For continuous bleaching, scouring and dyeing, application levels of 0.50% to 1.50% (owb) are sufficient to maintain foam levels at an acceptable level. The exact amount required will vary with the process, fiber and chemistry used.
STORAGE: Jantex Defoamer AB should be protected form extreme heat and freezing temperatures. Reasonable handling precautions should be observed.
